The emotion in this piece is amazing, her haunted, almost to the point of tears, expression shows off an aspect of the character which is rarely focussed on (in comparison to the hysterical madness) - a lot of your own thought and imagination must have gone into this.

The detail is stunning, I love how much you've packed into this. The wear on her clothes is effective without just resorting to trashy and revealing and the white streaks in her hair are a great touch - there's just the right amount to make the point while keeping true to her. Also the way her forehead creases in just the right way to follow on from her slightly raised eyebrow shows that you obviously have an intuitive feel for facial anatomy. (I could never work that out.) The colours and shading are also really effective, and your choice of background fits perfectly.

The jawline on her left side (right of the picture) is a little rounded, making her cheeks a little fuller and healthier than I would have expected. Also, the mouth seems a little lop-sided although this could be an illusion caused by the aforementioned cheek and jawline.

Overall, an amazing piece, and I will definitely be checking out the rest of your gallery.

At first glance I knew exactly what this picture was and who it was of. That made me very happy. With a lot of art you don't get that. What really captivates me about this photo is her eye. I cannot stop staring into it. I would, however, like to see a tad more of the other eye. The detail of her hair is amazing and the textures are awesome. I love the necklace. The colors in it are perfect and I think you portrayed this character well. I hope to see more from you soon. I am very pleased.
